Hi Friends! It’s been a while since I posted an art related blog post like a print or a card so I figured why not do that this week and share a free printable birthday card.
I participated in Inktober a few years ago where they challenge you to draw/paint one picture a day for the month of October and give you a prompt to inspire you. The last day of the month had the prompt “slice” and I was inspired to paint a slice of cake. Mostly because I felt like it was a celebration for me finishing the challenge.
I’ve always wanted to make a birthday card out of that print. This free printable birthday card is so simple and perfect for anyone. It works for any gender or age and with the inside completely blank you can personalize it however you’d like.

This card is for personal use only. You can print as many as you want to give to your loved ones but under no circumstances should you resell or distribute the file as your own design.

The cards print on a standard 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper with two cards per sheet. You’ll just need to cut the card sheet down the center and then fold the cards in half. I would recommend using a cardstock to give the card some weight.
When printed on 8.5″ x 11″ cardstock, each card will be 4.25″ x 5.5″. This is the perfect size to fit in standard A2 envelopes!

If you don’t have a printer at home, it is easy to print at a copy shop such as Staples. I upload mine directly to their website. Using 110 lb card stock it only costs about 70 cents per page. So you get 2 cards for 70 cents!

This graphic is adorable. I’m amazed at people who can think something in their head and create it with their hand!
